What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website or potential can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Analytics

We use web analytics tools that help us understand how users engage with the Service. Like many services, we use first-party cookies to track user interactions, as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how users use the Sites. This information is used to compile reports and to help us improve our website and  service. The reports disclose website trends without identifying individual visitors. Even you supply us with personal information it well not be compiled into our analytics reports.

Who we share your analytic data with

Your analytic data is not shared with anyone except the staff of Kat’s little angels daycare as we as our our web development team. As mentioned before, no personal or self identify analytic data is compiled into our analytics reports.

Who we share your data with

We will share personal information with a buyer or other successor located in the United States and which stores your personal information in the United States in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of SCAD’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by SCAD about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against you if you are violating the Terms of Use for a SCAD website or service. We also reserve the right to disclose your personal information if we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Page visits will be anonymously sent to google analytics. Form submissions data maybe retained for a time as a backup to our email notification.

Your information, including Personal Data, can be anonymized or removed from the Kats Little Angels website. Please use the form on the Data access request page to request a report on the Personal Data within the Lead/In website. You will receive an email with a link to view the data stored on the website, along with tools to remove or anonymize the data.

How we protect your data

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet or email is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through the Site or over email; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal information, we will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized use, access or modification.

What data breach procedures we have in place

Kat’s little angels have employed the Sitelock company to frequently scan our website for malware. We also perform all security updates as soon as possible.

California Residents

California residents may choose to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes or choose to opt out of such disclosure. Our policy is not to disclose personal information collected online to any third party for direct marketing without your approval. Changes to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy. It may be necessary from time to time for us to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the way we collect and use information or changes in privacy-related laws, regulations, and industry standards. Accordingly, we reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the revised policy on the Service and updating the “last modified” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to refer to this Privacy Policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy.
